Vaal river, Parys, South Africa only one hour’s drive from Johannesburg

The Vaal river is one of the oldest rivers in Africa It is 1130KM long. The Vaal river is ideal for river rafting, white water rafting and is graded as a level 2 river, this means the river is really exiting but also very friendly to use. There are a few options on river rafting, white water rafting that you can choose from.

 Options:

  • Half day river rafting, white water rafting on the Vaal river in Parys
  • Full day river rafting, white water rafting on the Vaal river in Parys
  • Two days one night river rafting, white water rafting on the Vaal in Parys

As river - Clarens (This river is not for the faint hearted)

Enjoy what this picturesque little town with its many art galleries has to offer, including a very exiting day of white water river rafting or kayaking.  The  Katze dam in the Lesotho mountains and the Highlands Water Project ensure a constant flow of icy cold, crystal clear water all year round that makes for exciting grade III to IV rapids. Ideal for a bachelors, families and corporate getaway or team build.

   

Vryheid - Bivane river  in Kwazulu Natal

This is really a must, experience the Bivane river for 2 or 3 days, sleeping over on the banks of the river. The Bivane river flows through a beautiful, remote area. The river is definitely technical. This river raft and kayak outing is exclusive because there are only a couple of days in the year that the new Bivane Dam releases water specifically for running river rafting and white water kayak trips, please realise that this is a ones in a lifetime experience.  The white water rafting and kayak trip ends in the Itala Game Reserve. This trip can be combined with a game drive of note!

   

Southern Natal Umzimkulu

One of the most beautiful rivers in the country, with unbelievable scenery. Easy grade 1 to 3 raft and kayak sections ideal for the whole family for a 1 day river raft outing or really taking it to the next level by doing a 4 to 5 day white water rafting extreme expedition. Or go for the opposite extreme with serious sections like Thrombosis Gorge only for the hardcore kayakers out there.  What about something in-between? The section at Oribi Gorge close to Port Shepstone is a must and can also be split into a 1 day white water raft outing or a multi-day expedition. You decide, take control of your own destiny!

Natal Umkomaas

Yet another river in our beautiful country with a lot to offer - mild to wild. We can tailor your trip by, selecting a section most suited to your needs. The section from Hella-hella with rapids number 1 to 8 is an old-time classic ideal for kayaks and rafts. We look forward to welcome you and your team on this exiting river!

   

Augrabies Orange river

Raft an exciting and pristine 8 km stretch of the Orange River, above the Main Augrabies Falls, taking out only 300 metres from the main falls. Come and tackle grade 2 and 3 rapids we call the Rhino, Rollercoaster, Klipspringer, Blind Faith and the Cascades while viewing the parks bird and wildlife.

Augrabies 4 night adventure trail

You adventure begins at the Augrabies Falls National Park, an amazing camp situated on the edge of the Augrabies Gorge, a great place to relax and get into the chilled pace of the Kalahari. A short walk will provide you with the most spectacular sunset over the picturesque waterfall and lunar landscape. The next day we introduce you to the Orange River. Our river trail passes through some of the most unspoilt areas of our country, a snake winding through an untouched wilderness giving life to the Sub-Kalahari and creating an oasis to the adventurer and paddler.11
